Patience, and I want it now!

What a problem I have with patience.  Am I alone?  Here are some thoughts about the subject.

Benjamin Franklin, “He that have patience can have what he will”.

Aristotle, “Patience is bitter, but it’s fruit is sweet”.

Fulton J. Sheen, “Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is “timing”
it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.”

Leo Tolstoy, War and Peace, “The strongest of all warriors are these two — Time and Patience.”

John Quincy Adams, “Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.”

Why does all of this become so very clear once that, which we have been patiently awaiting, occurs?

car accident

I have a close friend that recently got in a rear end car accident. He asked me what to do. My advise to him and others in the San Diego area who have experienced a similar circumstance is to call 619-282-8008. I can manage all of your heath care needs and can refer you to an attorney upon request (this I strongly suggest). Allow me to help you help yourself, family and friends. Do not delay, your health could be at stake.

Competitions are tough. It is not enough to train hard and do more than you think the other guy might be doing. It’s about the fight. Competition is a mutual conflict that is expressed with any form of challenge be it sports, dance, a job, whatever. It is a fight. The key is to keep going back for more. Overcome the adversity. Winning is cool. Losing sucks. But, if you lose, get back into it. Keep going back, and back, and back. Never quit trying. Losing does not mean you are defeated. It means you get more focused, more determined, meaner to get out and kick the other guys ass. Win or lose….do what it takes to kick the other guys ass.

Yes, it’s true. Not all workouts go the way we would like.

Whiplash injury

Ever heard this ? A whiplash injury can only be caused in a automobile accident. WRONG!
Auto accidents, work accidents, slip and fall, sports, or recreational accidents, may cause a whiplash injury. This type of injury to the neck can not only cause pain, but it can affect muscles, ligaments, bones or discs around the neck. It is important that you get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan ASAP. The sooner these problems are identified and treated, the sooner you’ll be on the road to recovery. If you have any questions…ask. @chriscope5 @LilHeathenMMA @JeffClarkMMA @ufc @dean_lister Dr. Mick

Posture Posture Posture

Posture and your health: The way we hold ourselves when we sit or stand affects our health, attitudes, and “first impressions”. How we feel and look have a major impact on getting and staying employed, and on how we influence others. Remember Mom’s
frequent reminders to stand up straight and stop slouching? This was good advice. The key is to practice good posture all the time. You can make improvements at any age.
Practice healthy posture. This will make your spine strong and stable. You may feel stiff at first if you’ve forgotten the sensation of sitting and standing up straight. Stretching and core strengthening exercises can help. But, when you stoop or slouch, your muscles and ligaments struggle to keep you balanced, which leads to stress, fatigue, pulled muscles, back pain and other problems.
